I have been "blackmailed" into dance lessons by Mrs D. You must remember the golden rule...............never, ever, under any circumstances admit that you might actually be enjoying them!
Works out quite well, she gets to go dancing, I get to have a few beers and Mrs D insists on driving home as "it is least I can do as I know you are here under sufferance"

Do you even want to do a first dance ?
Some people do, some people don't - it's your wedding so don't feel obliged, if you don't want to do it.
- if you take some dance lessons, do a simple routine well, rather than a complicated one badly
- don't just put your arms around each other and slow dance whilst mouthing the words to the song
Personally I would go and get some dance lessons, as it's always nice to be able to do a bit of formal dancing, even if you don't do an official 'first dance'.
