Liver - that's the killer, i know 2 people who have died after long treatments, and it was cancer of the liver that was the final nail.

It's strange to see such a public "normal" illness, no well crafted press releases, or disappearing from the media.

My thoughts exactly. She's been plugging the whole thing relentlessly in Heat magazine and similar which has irked me some, but some of it has to be to get some earning's in for her family.

IMO they should be making more of a big deal of her not returning for a 2nd check after she had an abnormal test a couple of years ago so others don't make the same mistake

Maybe it's just me but I don't actually care. Before the cancer, she was 'not a very nice person' and now she's 'not a very nice person... with cancer'. It will be sad for her family and friends when she dies but why does everyone else need to know about this?

It's obviously tragic for her and her kids, but hopefully the publicity will stop people burying their head in the sand if they have an abnormal smear.
