International Shipping/Postage Help. Wheels from Dubai to UK

Hi folks.
Looking for some help for anyone who has any experiance of international shipping etc. I have a friend who works for Bentley in Dubai and he has a set of 20" Mulliner Split rims which I need posted over to Perth in Scotland. I have tried the usual plces on the net like DHL, FedEX, IPS etc and prices have ranged from £600 to £3000. Can anyone suggest any way of getting these over here cheaper. I dont mind how long it takes but I aint paying that to get them here. Not sure how heavy these would be either. 150kg? 200kg?
Any help would be appreciated.
