We're off on a trip to Salzburg next week for 4 days. Planning on one day in the city itself and the other 3 days in various surrounding ski resorts.
So far I'm planning on daytrips to Berchtesgaden, Zell am See and possibly Kitzbuhel. We won't necessarily be skiing givn that Mrs Screwloose doesn't ski but are keen to do some tobogganing etc.

The reason I'm posting is to see if anyone has info on must dos/sees or restaurants to try etc.
Any insider tips on the area etc. Good Toboggan trips or even any of the torchlight type activities I've read about. Our intinerary is entirely flexible at this point so please feel free to offer other suggestions to the ones I've come up with so far.

Thanks for any input.

The ice caves at Werfen are quite spectacular, although there is a bit of walk to get to them.

Edit - except they are closed for the winter until 1st May.
