Anyone been? The missus is on about a place called Holiday Village over there.
It's an All-Inclusive jobbie but with a couple of kids, that doesn't bother me.
Can't help but think that as it's a First Choice only place, it will be a bit like Butlins in the sun?
Any other recommendations for 10 or 11 nights, in the last week of July (not necessarily Turkey)
We've done Egypt for the last couple of years at Easter and fancied a change.

Going back for our 6th time in 5 years ( our kids are now aged 7 and 6). We vowed never to go to the same place twice and in 12 years never had'til we found this place. Have recommended it to many other families, ALL have been back at least once,some are on their 4th or 5th visit.

We've booked to go here http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/n... in May. £2000 for a family of four. The place looks amasing and it's all inclusive (free beer) I can't wait.
Just hope it's as good as it looks!

I'm getting it coming out as about $6000 for 10 nights? Is that about right? Seems dear, when you have to (I presume) get your own flights as well?ETA - not that I'm a cheapskate of course!

We've always had All Inclusive holidays and can't imagine going self catering now, it's so convenient with the children not having to look through foreign menu's trying to decide what to have - most AI resorts have open buffets, so if you don't like something you can easily leave it and go and get something else. Not only that though, you also get drinks, ice cream etc. at convenient places throughout the day without having to carry money around - FAB!!

Went there last year.
See if you can get any deals on a place called Hotel Isis, in Gumbet, think we booked with in the sun or something. Worked out at about £400 each all inclusive including flights, so I was expecting it to be a bit poor, turned out to be lovely, everything was great about it. Two pools, private beach, watersports, gym, massages etc, 5 restaurants (Turkish, Chinese, Fish, etc) just in hotel plus the main one, food in the local town was cheap and good, especially 'Full English Breakfast' which seems to be a Turkish delicacy as it was served everywhere. Many 'Genuine Fake' bargains to be had locally
, watch out for Breitlings that go backwards (yes really!).

We went a few years ago to Olu Deniz resort hotel - all inclusive, took the kids off school for 3 days and it cost £3500 for 5 of us (2 rooms) (a week later it would have been nearer £5,500)... got rather fat on the constant food and booze.... love Turkey though, been to Dalyan twice, teenagers can get a bit bored though. Does get very hot in July/August so aircon is nice.
