Apparently there is a row going on between the UK and the US over how a "British" citizen has been treated (see here.
What's going on? I've seen Jack Bauer. I know how this stuff works. Do we care if British agents use torture to investigate terror threats? No, please get on with it, thanks. FFS.

He wasnt british at all
To be honest let his own fecking country fight his corner as we have enough of our own problems to deal with....

There are enough whiney posts about the 'poor innocent' who was wrongly accused of some crime in this country - Let's start waterboarding for allegations of Rape (no worries if the complaint is made by a lying SWT)
Isn't the bigger story that the US threatened to pull the plug on intelligence unless with collaborated with the kidnap and torture teams. If the US government had had any integrity and wanted to do this, it would have done it on their own soil. Arguably Guantanamo is sovereign soil (like an embassy) so it was only a political dodge to pretend that the guys in orange dungarees didn't have any rights.
