Skiing in Scotland

Have we had enough snow recently for skiing to be good in Scotland? I've never been there to ski, but can it stand up to foreign resorts or are the mountains/runs not high enough?

French Alps are closer

It's not as good as the foreign resorts but it's still great fun. We were up at Cairngorm Mountain on 2nd January and although the conditions were quite icy, it was a good day out. One of the highlights was the 3 hour drive to get there from where we were staying - a blast on empty roads.

It doesn't feel like it, but you're right. Makes me wonder what my motivation is for going there rather than abroad.

Perhaps its because nobody speaks English there in comparison to the, say, French resorts, so it actually feels like you're abroad??
