plumbers: extending a soil pipe for a toilet pan

need help guys. ive raised my bathroom floor by around 20" higher.

the existing soil is a slow 90 deg bend with a rubber seal, flush with the old floor.

what do i use to extend up through the new floor? just some soil pipe? i have to fit a boss into the extension for the sink and bath waste.

finally, where the 4" soil pipe will rise through the new floor, what fitting do i put on the end of it? a picture would help

yeah, my bathroom is an extension on the back of the house. im converting the house into flats, and to keep it as a bathroom the floor has to be level with the rest of the house. there was a 20" step down into the bathroom. all to comply with building regs

What is coming out of the floor?
If it is 4 inch soil pipe, you may need expose enough of the pipe so you can get a straight connector on to it. The extend using 4 inch pipe. To connect to the toilet, use a bent pan connector with an 1 1/2 connector on the top.



Just noticed you need to connect a bath waste to it, chuck on of these onto the 4" pipe. Strap on Boss

got that ricky, but specifically where the 4" soil pipe comes out of the new floor level, do i just cut the pipe off, and stick the pan connector into it, or is there some type of fitting that goes on the end of the soil pipe? what is a drain connector for?

The pan connector just slide inside the 4 inch pipe. No fittings required. Not sure on your bathroom lay out, but the connector on top of the pan connector can be used to connect your basin to.

If you need to make multiple connections on the 4" pipe, use one of these. Boss pipe.

get the flexible connectors from Wickes they are about £12 IIRC
