200 birds, 1 rifle and 8 hours.

So, we've had a problem with birds in the workshop and tractor shed s
tting on everything and setting up nests.
The boss finally had enough of it and asked me to stay and try and wipe them out.
So armed with 500 batshot bullets (so as not to blow a hole in the roof) and a 450 marlin Mannlicher Pro Hunter i set about them.
Well, i used 280 bullets and shot 200 birds, to be quite frank, they didn't stand much chance once it got dark.
I'm going back tonight to finish off the rest

Couldn't you have just opened the doors?

A lovely fillet steak from one of the Wagyu cows we shot the other day

tell you what - you can eat all the birds you want (steady), but can i get some of that beef?

anyway - good shooting and good luck for tonight

Do you feel any guilt about doing this? They are living creatures after all that you have killed. I'm not saying you did wrong, you had a problem and you sorted it. Not sure I could do that though, not that way.
Any pics?
I'd have felt guilty if they hadn't been sAny pics?
tting on everything and trying to attack you when you went in the workshop. It's pest control at the end of the day.
