Suggest a dress/outft for my girlfriend to wear to a wedding

I suspect this will generate plenty of answers that will raise a smile but I will ask anyway...
In April I will be best man at a wedding in Cork. Both bride and groom are Irish catholics with quite conservative families.
My girlfriend generally dresses really well and looks great. However the dresses she has asked for my opinion on look like evening wear worn by the Burburry set. She's asked me for my suggestion as she knows they aren't suitable.
She always moans about finding it difficult to look good in any dress as she's about 5'1" and very slim. She's 28, but looks younger, and is blonde if that helps with suggestions.
I'm lost on this one. I know what I like but wouldn't have the first clue what to suggest or where to look.

i've looked and left this thread 3 times now trying to think of a suitable reply, but in short, men have no idea what a woman should wear.
If they do, it'd be a nurses outfit or something, and a car forum reduces the chances of a hot pick to close to zero!
Anyway - some sort of semi professional officey suit, and a hat.
