That is the best console.

Had both and find them both the same at the moment apart from little used features such as cross game chat on the 360.

For online gaming, Xbox LIVE is the best bar none... but it costs.

To me, you have to pay to go online with the X-Box, that is enough to put me off..

Had an Xbox for about a month, then sold it as I got bored!

Gunna wait for Gran Turismo 5 to come out and buy a PS3 then. I know I won't get bored of that!

bks it is. Have used both extensively and for games, there is hardly any difference except for more people talk as you get a wired headset with the live membership pack.

Get an Xbox and Forza - or if you've the right telly, then treat it to some BluRay on PS3.

I don't play game much.. GT5, Dirt the exceptions... I got it mainly for the Blu-ray, and the media capability... I suppose it depends on whether the games you want t play are PS3, or 360...

What sort of games do you enjoy? For racing they are pretty similarly supported but if you prefer First Person Shooters then the X-Box is miles ahead.

Xbox LIVE has the most comprehensive online features and that's what you pay for. They set the bar with the first Xbox and the 360 continues to hold the title for best online gaming. The community is a lot larger for a start. There are more games that utilise the online features on 360 too. PS3 is a great machine; I love it but for online gaming, 360 is not just a bit better; it's a lot better.

Examples? In every multi platform game the online side is virtually the same.
