If we can just persuade Cameron to grasp this policy stance, he may become a realistic prospect for my vote rather than just the recipient of a protest vote against GB.

Time to resurrect and old Unionist slogan from the past, methinks -

"Ulster Will Fight - and Ulster Will be Right".

I expect, because they have more than an inkling of the outcome of such.

OMG...Ulster still with head in sand..left there 20 years ago and still bloody mindedness rules. Bigotry, fried food, hatred and lack of acceptance of nature's forces. When I was a student this man's party ruled that all parks and swimming pools be locked up on Gods day. Sammy Wilson is probably opposed to Darwin...this harks back to that Spencer Tracy film where he defended a teacher to be allowed to educate his students re evolution.

Great film too - with a slightly pyrhic victory at the end.

Whilst I might agree with Mr Wilson's sentiments on MMGW, I would be concerned about his views on other matters.

(Does burning effigies of the Pope contribute to MMGW I wonder).

Just heard him being interviewed on Radio 4. I never thought I'd ever say this, but I'm voting Unionist at the next general election.

With a choice of Brown, Cameron and Clegg I think I'll join you.

No but I'm sure that the fires currently underway in Oz have far outwayed any contribution we as people could have achieved. I'm waiting for the tax for that to come rolling in.

I never thought I'd see the day that I'd support Sammy Wilson!

Someone should check if running through various gardens naked causes MMGW!!

Other than being very against abortion and so on, I think he has a fairly decent record.

He likes motorbikes and doesn't like hippies.

What's wrong with being against abortion? OK in the early days, but that's another thread.

What's most interesting is that someone with proper religious beliefs finds it so easy to just reject MMGW out of hand. Says it all to me.

My word... These greenies really are a nasty bunch aren't they..

greeny person said:
But Brian Wilson, of the Green Party, said the environment minister should be removed from office for refusing to recognise climate change.
"He is a climate change sceptic. We have got to take all measures we can to reduce our carbon footprint. Mr Wilson does not agree with that.
"This is totally incompatible with him being minister for the environment," he said.

As far as I know he is against all forms of abortion, even if it means endangering the mothers life etc etc. I may be wrong on that though. Dont really think it should be a case of 100% against but should be based on the circumstances but again that is another thread.
