Between Insch and Huntly. (and yes, the well's in my garden...

My benz is buried under a 3 foot deep snow drift that has frozen completely solid. Won't be moving for a while...
It's a balmy -14 now.
Nice part of the world, though. I stayed up in Keith for a week a few years ago on a fishing jolly. Spent 93% of the time absolutely muntered.

I drove through Lumsden and Rhynie on Saturday. Ridiculous amounts of snow, even more than in Alford just 10 or so miles away. Friend in Craigellachie measured 56cm of snow on their car Sat morning! And if it was -19C in Alford last night, it must have been close to -25C on the Cabrach which is about the coldest place in the UK (always at least 5C colder than Alford)

aye, i'm not far from rhynie. we've not actually had much snow since friday but it's drifting off the fields. 4 feet deep in parts of my paddock!Edited by Lefty Guns on Monday 9th February 11:26

Proof that Al Gore is talking nonsense.
I agree that Al Gore's arguments are very selective. But, similarly, one cold winter does not prove that climate change isn't happening! Climate change is evidenced through decade-scale trends, not year-to-year 'noise' due to prevailing weather patterns...ViperScot said:

Surely that must be close to a record low for the UK??ViperScot said:
