What to get?
I've bought him all manner of port, vino, fat cubans, rugby and golf stuff over the years, but later on this month it's the big one for him.
Got no idea what to buy.
Anyone got any decent ideas?
Balloon flight?I've bought him all manner of port, vino, fat cubans, rugby and golf stuff over the years, but later on this month it's the big one for him.

Flying lesson?
Ticket to a big match?
Some kind of drving experience?
I bought my old man some Cartier Cufflinks for his 60th. Decided they were something that
a) Will last
b) He will use
c) Are tasteful
and
d) I can actually afford... well at least I could prior to buying the Evo
Obviously if your old man doesn't spend much time in a suit, as mine does, they might not be the best choice

A trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach?I've bought him all manner of port, vino, fat cubans, rugby and golf stuff over the years, but later on this month it's the big one for him.
..seriously though - he does like Jags and used to drive an XJ6 back in the 90's before he got company cars. But I'm not sure he shares a true enthusiasm for cars these days, such that it would make a great birthday gift.
Also he's ex-RAF so he's been in the back seat of a few, er, fast things out in Oman. I don't think a balloon flight is up his street. And yeah, I think 250 is a bit much unfortunately, though that was a good idea.
