How depressing is that?.

Ever given it any thought?. If I pop my clogs tomorrow my loved ones would be rolling in it.

I am now worth something not far off half a million quid dead. Shame I don't earn that alive.

Depressing isnt it.

Actually its dropped since the house value has dipped.

Unless you are really not a very pleasant person (as you have 'loved ones' then I guess you can't be all bad), then I think their immaterial losses would be greater than their material gains

True, also if you owned a few more limited companies, you could be a pro-wrestler!

What are you waiting for? Should we send W4nted around with full audited accounts and a letter from his company secretary?

I'd say thats the case with most people(certainly is with me). But your family would prefer you alive and thats what counts, money really isn't everything.

You obviously have a lot of faith in people.

That's endearing, but ultimately foolish.

Believe me its not. I know SO many people who don't have life insurance, dont have pensions, dont have critical illness cover etc... A lot of people in low paid jobs won't have pensions, people without houses are unlikely to have protection or insurance cover to pay the house off if they die.

Yes they might be rolling in it but they will also know that it's blood money. You can't spend money that results from the loss of loved ones in the same way you'd spend money you earnt.

Might I suggest a spot of canoeing followed by a visit to Panama?

Typical life insurance on mortgage plus pension payouts on death, plus widows pension both from a job and government...

£250k+ easily in a lot of cases I would have thought...

THat's obviously assuming taking life cover/having a job and a paid pension etc....

Would rather have my other half though....money isn't everything but it ruddy helps!!
