How much will road tax be for a 2001 "Y" reg. bmw x5 4.4
Also, how much for the same vehicle with lpg conversion.

Thats rather depressing...having just looked into it, if my car was one month older it would be £210 a year cheaper to tax! Boooo!

And you still have to pay the congestion charge.

There is a list of approved vehicles and installers that will entitle you to 100% discount on your congestion charge with an LPG converted vehicle.

The list of cars is quite rediculous too, Jeep cherokees and other such monstrosities yet quite a distinct lack of smaller engined vehicles!

Currently the discount will apply until 2010 when it may be extended or cancelled depending on how much money is lost through this (after all the environment is for making money not spending!)

Y reg should be March - August 2001. So it has missed the pre March 2001 £185 rate.
