ok so I'm off work ill and switched on the TV to see what daytime wonders would be on today and saw this.

So far he's managed to get in a fact about the methane emissions of a cow being comparable to the CO2 emissions of a 4x4 and he's even managed to rope Oliver in on it laugh Looks a bit like Braniac for kids, if a little cringeworthy at times...

Yeah, I watched on this Tuesday. They dropped a tonne of water on top of a Ford Granada to see if it would damage it at all hehe

I saw about a minute of this when flicking through the channels, his demeanor seemed to be "Christ, am I actually doing this..?"

We used to have "Advert credit" on the sky+ box.
We'd make a brew or whatever for the first 5 mins of a programme so we had credit to skip through the adverts.
My wife is now saving it for "Hammond Credit" so she can skip though seeing him...she's fed up.

He's got a new series starting on Sunday called Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections, which looks reasonably interesting. I just hope the subject matter isn't dealt with in a patronising way and that they've picked the right presenter. I find him a tad irritating with too much exposure.
