Afternoon chaps,

I'm taking my other half to Budapest for a weekend break this valentines and I was hoping some of you may be able to offer some good recommendations for restaurants on Saturday night?

I was thinking of a Danube cruise which I'm sure would be nice but I'd like the food to be excellent too. Budget is about €120 for the two of us.

Also things to do on Saturday and Sunday days would be superb, but keep in mind we're leaving around 3pm on Sunday as I need to get the rental car back in Vienna by 6pm.

Also somewhere nice on Friday night would be good too for dinner....not sure I want to spend it in the hotel!!!!!

Ta!

Ages since I was last there with work, so can't advise on Eating spots. However, if you want to do anything arty, book now or you'll not get a ticket. Tried to see the Nat Orch whils there and couldn't get a ticket for love nor money.

Oh and try some native wine. They have some of the best wine in Europe apparently - something to do with it being one of the few countries where the vine stocks weren't decimated by the blight years ago.
