The car got ambushed last week at the traffic lights by a load of school kids! Thought it was quite funny tbh! Was only the daily driver so no harm done!

Its the sort of thing I used to do as a kid, so it would be hypocritical to object!!!

I was sat at my parents last Monday when a load of kids walked past and pounded the house (was mid-afternoon, so they probably thought the house would be empty).

I didnt think about it, but as I was right by the front door, I ran out the front and just shouted "do one, you little sts". Dont know why.

Laughed about it later, I'd have laughed if someone had done that to me when I was 13-15 y/o. Harmless really.

In hindsight, I wish I'd walked out quietly and let them all have some back!

I'm only half serious. If some sh!t head chav compacts a hard one and chucks it full pelt at my side window, I'll be incensed. If it's a cheeky 4 year old and the snow hasn't got any stones in it, then I can see the funny side smile

ETA: I once compacted a snowball a bit too hard and knocked someone off his feet with it. Cue red snow and lots of swearing. Must have really hurt... but my point is - roof off, in the Elise, I don't trust the window's strength against that sort of force.

Snowballs. They're not so bad, and don't hurt too much even if compacted. Just a bit of fun.

I'll tell you what's NOT fun though.

Take one bottle of water. Bury in snow. Leave for day. Next day, dig it out and throw it at someone/something. Absolutely vicious - has all the power if not more of an equal sized rock - a hit to the head or neck could easily cause concussion or even kill. Even if it doesn't land a headshot, it's still gonna leave a nasty bruise. It's not 'avin a larf' - it's premeditated assault. And should be treated as such by the authorities.

(guess who nearly got hit...)
