Bit of background. Girlfriend's sister likes attracting attention/sympathy. So she posted up a load of rubbish on a social networking site about how her sis (my GF) had let her down.
I was having a bad day up to that point, and perhaps I should have let it slide, but I didn't. I commented on her petulance. Unfortunatley the little sis has spent the last week spouting rubbish about ME to her parents. I wasn't fussed, until I realised there were actually taking it seriously! Now they hate me and wont even grace me with a hello - so god knows what she's beeing saying. Also they seem to be holding it againt the GF now as well.
Unfortunately my GF is cooking for me tonight and I'm currently round their house. I'm 22 this month FFS I just want to go downstairs and palm em, ut that would upset the GF (probably)
So does anyone have adivce for keeping calm in awkward situations?

just spat out my tea...That said, how about taking over a couple of bottles to the family as a peace offering?

Or seek professional help. Take her family, along with an audit trail of paternity testing, fake marriage certificates and council housing affidavits to this man. I hear he is the TOP GUN of lower class matrimonial dispute:

Well that was interesting...
Been ages since I had a good argument! And the best part about it is that it wasn't with my parents! Probably a few things I shouldn't have said, probably a few more things I should. But one thing is for certain, they've backed down from the GF now, which is all I ever wanted in to first place.
