Ah well thats the thing - I know zero about the cars really, I'll do my research online but still I'm going in pretty blind. Its a 1986 86K on the clock and its MOT'd until July. I bought a MK1 MR2 once and it stole my cutlery, candlesticks and watch. Currently driving a Eunos Roadster, which I love, I'll keep her and blast this daft Blackpool monster. Why am I terrified?
If you're going in blind, you mustn't be suprised if it comes back to bite you in the arse. Its a 22 year old car and will have 22 year old car failings. Going in eyes open to these and aware of the costs involved in fixing them is paramount. On the other hand, you may be buying an absolute peach without knowing it and you'll never have to pay out for more than a service.
Without the research, it a lottery. And before any of the TVR haters turn up and start wise cracking, this is the same for almost any car.
