Where would I get something like this???? ( pics )
Discussion
I am doing a few testers for the local council ( reupholstering offices chairs ) they were in brown orange leather before and now want them in grey leather. Getting to the end of the first few and assembling them and realise that some of the plastic strips that hide staple lines can been seen and they are totally the wrong colour.
Looks like in comes in one long strip that you cut to size, any one know where I should start looking ( tried my normal supplier of upholstery sundries ).
Anyone know where I could buy something like this ? I am stuck.

Where i work (oil service company) we have an office chair with one caster missing and can't get a new one until one gets chucked in the rubbish skip and we shall procure it for the workshop office
But its a job that payes enough for my council tax bill

The old chairs look rough, and in the main debating chambers where there are tv crew etc it would look alot better if the room was a coherent design and not just a mishmash of different colours and knackered equipment.

And we wonder what our tax is being spent on?
Refurbing a major hall once every 30 years when they are sticking in new technology ( loud speaker systems linked with mics on each desk, 100 desks ), overhauling the old lighting system for a more modern economical system etc etcI can see what you might be saying but this really isn;t a councilor jolly, some suit playing Changing Rooms on a whim.

or if you have retrimmed the cusions in leather can you not use some actual grey leather and stich that over the area?
Again a thought I have had, but as there are so many I need to think about the time it is going to take me as I have small margins already, also the extra leather etc etc.Bunging the plastic in is the easiest way, so am thinking to get that first.
Thanks for the suggestions though.
