How was your Friday the 13th?
Discussion
Now I'm not a superstitious person, but of all days a couple of bloody annoying things happened!
Early hours of that morning, I get a flat tyre on my parent's Range Rover. I was only driving it because the parents are on holiday! That, coupled with the low profile tyre meant I didn't notice the flat until I had driven 6 miles.
And I discover the route of the puncture - TWO relatively old buckles in the wheel.
So now I've got to get a new tyre AND a wheel!
Then one of dogs yesterday slipped on a small remaining patch of snow and almost ripped her dewclaw off!
I know it's only a couple of things, but all this happening while the parents are away and on that date! Sheesh!
You've heard my story.
Did any fellow PHers have a bad Friday 13th?

Was down in the cellar of the pub changing one of the ales, managed to slip and "unsettle" all of the ales (which need 48 hours to settle properly). Queue frantic changing of all ales and dropping an empty keg on my toe whilst wearing flip-flops
Whilst all this was going on, the spirits and bottles delivery came. I signed for the order without checking as I was in a rush and realised afterwards that the three expensive bottles of champagne especially requested for tonight weren't on there. Queue me having to purchase said expensive bottles out of my own cash
Last, but not least, settled down to watch Under Siege and got a phone call from the casual barman saying he needed to go. So I had to come downstairs and work til 1am, having opened the pub at 11.30am. Thank God it's only a small "locals" pub
Ah, needed to get that off my chest.

Apart from being given an Agency driver's mate who, despite saying "It's OK, I can read a map" couldn't read a map and, thanks to a cock-up in "the system" being made to look foolish and unprofessional in front of a customer (we turned up with three kitchens and three lots of appliances, when they actually only wanted one), it was just another Friday.
