To be honest the whole thing seems dragged out, very quickly losing my interest.

As an engineer I was looking forward to this but.... is he still..... yawn
I'll stick with it but bored already.

Maybe I need something more to the point, science and facts.

Agree, massively dragged out and filled with over the top 'parallels'. Recording the rest for when I get really bored. James May is much better, he gets on with it.

Yes James Mays shows have held my interest much better, the one he did about new vs old toys at Xmas was excellent. 20th Century was good as well.

I'm recording this but had my reservations when I saw it advertised. James May's programs are really good. Big Ideas was excellent - I found the one about robots particularly fascinating.

long drawn out inaccurate, started watching them on the discovery channel, but became painful

as has been pointed out the A380 wasn't the first plane to use winglets on the end of the wings, the mongols also didn't invent composites, the fact that the ancient greeks had lamina armor made of layers of leather metal and linen glued together not only predates this, but is much more similar to the shell of the A380 then the mongol bow.

personally don't like hammond doing his science programs, i don't think he's good at it, maybe work with kids but not the kind of person who wants to sit through a show on the A380, it's reached the point i'm so fed of him being on all the time, i don't shop at morrisons because he does the adverts
