Some interesting photos, and I think that the colour really adds something and makes them a lot more 'realistic'

Even got a nude in there.

I am always amazed att he crowd at Nurmberg! The logistics must have been unreal. They all had to pee at some point I would imagine.

The Nazis did have a smart line in uniforms.

(except for poor old Adolfs baggy trousers).

Thats the good thing about being a facist dictator, or indeed any 'ist dictator. If people don't like the way you dress, you can just have them disposed of.

Fantastic collection - thanks for the link.

Some of the less formal ones provide great insight.

Did anyone see the program where they used lip reading and face/mouth recognition technology to put words to the silent colour "informal" films of Hitler? They even uncovered a taped conversation between him and the Finnish leader covertly recorded by the Finns in a train carriage. His voice was so different and led to the belief that he treated public speaking like an actor, building himself up and projecting/shouting in a way he didn't normally speak. With the Finnish recording they could get someone who sounded like Hitler to put the words to the silent films.

Here's a clip from the History channel programme - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUofISYOo3c

It's the people in the back ground that get me, all happy & joyful. Little do they know what's in store for them all.

you have to admire how the 'master race' looked; tall, handsome and athletic, like Hitler, Himmler and Göring

SS had Hugo Boss uniforms.

Ihave to say those pictures are just awesome,(not Hitler was a mass murdering fkhead awesome, but just awesome) the crowds, I am in awe, it makes a massive difference seeing them in colour, otherwise you cant really imagine what it was like in Nazi Germany

From the dictators point of view most probably.

I should have included a winking smiley after my post though to indicate humour, not seriousness.

I'm drawn to this one for some reason.

kthemeat.com/foto2/naziincolor/77.jpg'>kthemeat.com/foto2/naziincolor/77.jpg'/>

I think perhaps because every picture I've seen of AH has been of him scowling. Here, he's just a normal chap enjoying a joke. There's absolutely no sense of what an evil man he was - he almost looks like a decent fella.
