a guy at work has found his perfect wedding ring its sounds like its a bit of a one off and 3k ! trouble is he isnt getting married for another 8 months he likes the ring and says he will wear it anyway and remove it for the week of the marrage to then put it back on.

ive seen older people 2nd timer maried etc wearing them before they get hitched etc

one of the guys says it might be bad luck to wear it before your married.

what do you think ?

Personally I would wait until I got married - I looked forward to being able to wear my wedding ring - sort of spoils if you wear it before.

Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.

Eight months to come up with a reason to call it all off and he's caved in already.

Luck's a fictitious entity. If he's spent 3k on it, why not wear it? Why he spent 3k on it and 8 months before the wedding though...?!

£3k on a man's ring? I thought those ceremonies were called "civil partnerships", not weddings?

Before your married what?

I hate it when people fail to finish a sentence.

Wrong. A wedding ring's powers are useless against true psychos and mingers.

You'll still ned the services of a good stty stick.

hehe

I'd be happy with a copper compression seal with smoothed off edges. Not sure why men spend so much on rings...

i must admit it does look nice, even a cheap white gold band would be 600-700 so for a totally one of design i spose its worth it

im 50 50 at the moment i think its nice to look forward to and also so nice why not wear it now

Jesus, no patience.

Just wait 8 months, make it a bit special.
