Reading on the throne

Another thread got me thinking...

Why do some people enjoy sitting on the throne for an absolute age, reading a book/paper etc. and sitting in their own smell?

What is it with that?

When hungover, I've fallen alseep a couple of times......really bad when you wake up and lost all feeling in your legs.

Most embarrassing trying to walk out of trap 3 like a stroke victim.

Someone told me recently of a guy who fell asleep (pissed) kneeling on the edge of the sofa, ie, kneeling on the floor with his face on the edge of the cushions.

Woke up 14 hours later and as there had been no blood to his legs for that long they had to amputate!

Half hour sat on the bog with a copy of Evo is a nice way to relax, no family on at you, no phone going off for work its just peace and quiet whilst I do something I gotta do anyway.

i can quite easily spend half hour reading mags and listening to the radio when having a good clear out. i enjoy it

I've recently been advised NOT to do it.

Increased chance of 'Farmer Giles' apparently...

...but seeing as I'm now sponsoring my own loo breaks (self employed), the amount of time spent doing paper work in the small office has been cut right down anyway.

Not in my poxy house. I get the OH start asking me questions through the door........... But I like to read joke books, Private Eye etc..

I subscribe to the Readers Digest specifically for this reason. Most articles / stories are just about the right time to read!

I dunno about Crime & Punishment but I always read magazines on the throne. Guaranteed privacy, it's relaxing!

I only really park a buffalo when the need arises and so end up being in and out pretty quick like the OP. If I wanted to read for a long time in private I'd rather have a long bath!

All this talk of passing out on the throne reminded me of an 18th birthday party I attended. One of the guest's passed out on the loo, mid st after being sick on the floor. Wasn't too nice for whoever found him.
