The pair of earphones that came with my Sony mp3 player have blown up and I can't find a model number.

So I'm looking for suggestions of in-ear earphones as I use them in the gym / other noisy environments.

Will be playing 192KBps mp3, so awesome quality is not needed. Mainly heavy metal and trance music.

£35-40.

Can't argue with £15. I'm very happy with mine - what a difference compared to iPod 'phones!

I've just bought some Sennheiser MM50s for the iPhone - they seem pretty good to me.

Normall shaped ear phones fall out of my ears so I bought some
KOSS spark plugs. Foam so the mould and relatively cheap.
Thoroughly recommended.

Sony MDR-EX71

I bought these when I got my Ipod a couple of years ago, and they are excellent! I even bought another pair for use in the gym.

Be very careful that you buy from a trusted source, as there are a lot of crap replicas around at the moment.

Shure are a quality brand. They also have a great 2 year warranty - I had a problem with mine after 18 months and they replaced them by next day delivery.

I've heard some people don't like them because they have to be inserted quite deep into your ear, but it does have the added benefit of blocking out much of the ambient noise meaning you don't need to have the volume turned up so high.

I like my pair of Skull candy headphones... However, that's probably nowhere near as posh as the others!
