That was The Beverly Sisters. They were British. The Andrews Sisters were American.

2 of them live locally to me - see them in the Coop - dressed then same, which is fine for twins who are 2, but seems a bit odd when you're 'over 21'.

Apparently their driving is terrible according to a friend who followed them recently!

Eamon had a brother called Noel. Noel Andrews was the Irish Radio and TV boxing commentator for years. Their voices were almost identical.

So, not only did we have the Andrews Sisters, we also had the Andrews Brothers.
