Who would agree with old style punishment??????

Dead simple really. Who else would like to see a return to society where a prison is a 8 foot square barred cell.
No telly, playstation,video etc.if it's overcrowded, so be it, try and avoid going.
Dinner is bread and water and you only get that as a result of an appropriate amount of hard labour.
Also a return of teachers being able to give pupils a clip round the ear, and the police actually using the stick a little more readily-as opposed to the opt telivised 'let's all calm down' tell 'em once then floor them.
Oh, and while I'm on, hanging is right back as the punishment of choice for the worst offenders.
All in all, proper punishment, and a return to people having to have respect for those in authority.
What is the opinion here?

I agree with your sentiments, and I would be in favour of harsher punishments, 1,2,3 strikes your out and on a penal colony on a remote Scottish Island, and public corporal punishment for scrotes.
But not hanging or the death sentence, no way.
