Hello PH'ers,

Since I ended my long-term (well long-term for me = 4 years) last August all the women I've dated/had intimate sexual relations with are either mental, carrying emotional baggage, mental, carrying other baggage which make them mental (kids etc), already with boyfriend, mental ex-girlfriends I split with originally cos they were mental, friends of friends I was told were really nice but turned out to be mental, etc, etc

Now I don't remember it being this much hard work in the past - maybe I have a crap memory - and this time I've been really fussy and only gone for what I thought were attractive, sane girls - No more 2 o'clock beer goggle inflicted one-night stands.... Honest.

I'm 34 and the girls are between 26 - 32. (With a 19 year old thrown in for research purposes).

So is it that I've just got to the age where all the women I meet will have been through the mill and have been scarred for life, or am I back to what seems to have been my life-long quandary?:

1) I only attract mental women, or

2) All women are mental.

Cheers. smile

My Mrs first words this morning "I'm not talking to you today" as she flounced off in a huff

The reason for such behaviour, the reason I need to get nagged and moaned at all morning finaly came out.

She had a dream last night in which she died and my new GF made me sell the house.

She's gone out thank fk.

does that answer your question?

Cant help you with the vote I'm afraid - but I'm keen to see the general consensus.

I've been in the same boat for a while, sadly the ones that arnt nuts are as dull as dish water rolleyes I was wondering if a happy medium really did exist.

...having said that - the loonies are great fun in bed yum

I thought I'd cracked it recently with a 6ft fetish model, until I realised this 'other' woman she kept talking about was actually her too! She had a case of Schizoid personality disorder wobble

i'm in exactly the same boat and i've now come to the conclusion that really its a question of finding one thats happy, nice, stupid/oblivious mental rather than a classic SWT mental type.

but either way there will be issues, and they will be your fault

If it was me I would avoid women with children, and in your age group I think a high proportion of them are going to be in that position.

Pesty, you lucky Bar-steward, mine's still here, having decided that I was 'out of order' when I took umbridge(sp) when she said that one of her mates husbands was a proper dad to his kids....which was nice.

The urge to stab her is increasing by the second.

<sage mode>Some of them are truly mental but majority just make you go mental, the difference is important. Sometimes we shouldn't be so quick to spit the dummy out, I'm still learning.</sage mode>

There's only one common factor in all these relationships... YOU
Maybe you're the mental one with issues?
