Watersports Holiday in Croatia or Egypt?

Looking to get away somewqhere for a week in the summer. Ideally looking to be on a beach somewhere and be able to do some windsurfing and kitesurfing, but with the possibility of doing some 'cultural' stuff too (for the missus).

Any PHers got any recommendations? Looking to get outside the Eurozone with the current weakness in the pound.

Croatia Good food if you eat local

If you head to Egypt El Gouna has some nice hotels a lot of kitesurfing and best of all no beggars and bartering. On the downside there is nothing cultural there - it is a farily new resort with a wall around it to keep any beggars out...

It is possible to take a day trip to the Valley of the Kings by coach if you want culture.

Croatia is great for good food and wine, and I've been several times for sailing holidays. If you're looking for beaches though, Croatia isn't reknowned for it's abundance of them. Fantasic place though

Saw loads of people kite surfing in Egypt last week. Looked great fun!
