DVD- Digital copies

Just got a batch of DVD's today and noticed i'd bought a few with digital copies. I have one that you enter a code on a website to download so obviously can only be used once. But i also have one that is on another disc so i think this can be transferred onto a computer as many times as you like. This can't be good for the industry if that disc was passed onto mates of mates and so on. A nice idea but surely this doesn't help the whole pirate scene.
