Can I cut this off? (medical)

I have had this thing on my neck for years. It frequently rubs on clothing and becomes sore. I have acquired a brand new scalpel blade from work. Can I just slice the damn thing off and not get pissed off every time I wear a collar or scarf..



ok, I lied about wearing a collar but the thing pisses me off

If it is a mole, you definitely need it professionally removed, AFAIK there are serious implications if you get a mole removal wrong.

How have you lived with that? I would just snip it off with a pair of scissors, what's the big deal? I have had a few things like that over the years, I just cut them off or out.

Use a very fine cotton, and tie a very tight knot around the growth. This will eventually cause the growth to drop off the body.

Yep, it's a skin tag, harmless to remove but check stocks with your local blood bank.
