Dislocated shoulder in the car!!
Discussion
Was driving into work this morning, went to make the right turn into the road our work I put my right arm at 7 o'clock on the wheel and went to turn(one handed, no left), and bang my arm popped right out of my shoulder and I hit the car in front!!!! Barely any damage thankfully. But it was an eye opener..
I have only ever done this once before, and it was in my sleep.
It did hurt, but the feeling of awkwardness as the arm goes the wrong way and is motionless was not nice!!
Has anyone else done similar?

I have this, very annoying and pretty painful. Have had it happen a few times in my sleep. The worst is when you wake up juuuuuuust before it happens and like disarming a bomb, have to figure out exactly which movement will let it slip back into position.
Worst time it's happened is while rowing, single scull thin rowing boat (rolls over if you so much as pass wind) in the middle of a fast flowing Thames. Not fun!
Doc said they could wire the joint up but I passed on that, control it now by avoiding causative movements.
