Anyone help, recently purchased a laptop which is too big to now balance on the sofa arm! I ideally need a laptop table/coffee table able to cater for a 20" laptop and room for a mouse mat.

Any recommendations, as I cannot find anything. Argos do a nice stand, but it only has room for the laptop and that's it.

Suggestions?

If you don't mind spending a few quid, check out the two posted by Dargie at the bottom of page one on this thread:

This evening i'll be posting up in a sticky thread on here for a coffee table i've made, and am selling - of which the proceeds are going to charity.

It's a Ferrari Challenge Stradale wheel, 19", with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tyre, on a custom stand, with a glass table top on it.

Starting bid will be £100, Buy It Now will be c.£300.

Keep an eye out tonight, i'll have full pictures then.

edit: just seen your budget, sorry. But hey - splash out!!! biggrin

What about using one of those dinner trays on legs, intended for use whilst eating and watching TV?

There is this type of thing but I suspect the legs are too short/low. Could you change the legs somehow? scratchchin

Other than that I'd suggest going to Ikea. They sell "seperates".
Buy a set of 4 matching legs and a suitably sized glass top and make a custom table. smile

You can buy a laptop stand. Then it can rest on your legs in comfort.
