I couldn't believe it should be ever an issue to have a disabled presenter without a limb on TV. Granted it's a little different, but awkward and scary for your kids?!!?!? Come on!!!!

It only scares them if you are a crap parent and don't know how to educate your kids properly.

The sad thing is, she probably got the job BECAUSE she has a visible disability.

My kids only mentioned it once and I said she was born like that.
I explained that sometimes babies don't grow properly in their Mum's tummy and it can result in missing hands, etc.. They just accepted it. End of story.

Personally the parents who complained should be sent on diversity training and work with some of the vets that have served the UK in Afganistan.
