Who can speak the most languages fluently on PH??

Used to live next door to a guy in Malta that could speak seven, I was once in his house and he was talking in English to me, Maltese to his daughter, the phone rang and he changed instantly to Italian, phone went again five minutes later and he conducted a conversation in French.....all fluently
Said he knew German, Spanish and Greek too, although he did use to work for the British diplomatic corps.......

Did he speak a little Russian too?Knew a guy in the army (haven't spoken for 5-6 years) who speaks Welsh, Gallic, French, German, and Russian. Had an ex who spoke French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. Last known to be working for Philip Morris in China. She could also 'get by' in a few other languages as well!!! One of those rare types would could seemingly just pick up a new language by osmosis.
