Some big industrial shredder company in the states has been filming stuff as it faces their mighty shredding machine. Nothing is sacred - computers, cars, boats - in they go!

I've spent a little longer on this site than I suspect is normal smile

It had to stop a couple of times and reverse to clear itself when it was shredding the torpedo. Are there any that it fails to shred?

ETA too late.

Very satisfying!

We have hours of fun 'testing' our crushers on our demo site here at work. Similar but different type of destruction: BAV Crushers on You Tube

Thats me at the end, drving the 30 tonne Hitachi. The crusher has a 120 tonne crushing force and we were breaking 1m plus sections of very high newton strength reinforced concrete. (When you see the dust comming of the carbide tips, the noise was like a very large calibre machine gun hit.)

Forget popping bubble wrap - this is a real stress buster!

If I had one of those machines, I'd toss all-sorts of junk in it just to see what happens. Awesome machinery smile

Digga senior brough a lot of the first American stump grinders into the UK in the eighties. They heard of at least one case where a stump was being ground down a bank or ditch and someone got a bit too close and slid down the bank and... shiver me timbers they had a peg leg for the rest of their natural born.

Makes me shudder to think of it.
