We will shield minorities from the recession, vows minister

James Purnell, the Work and Pensions Secretary, is to take action to ensure that vulnerable groups are not left behind in the jobs market as unemployment begins to bite

I expect they will pay for a bunch of people to sit at home, rather than incentivising business and industry with targeted corporation tax reductions and investing in employment generating infrastructure programmes, that may actually be of some use when we are out of this st.

Would Mr Purnell care to comment on the allegation that his department made it so difficult for me to advertise a 6 full time employment/training opportunities, restricted to a 'vulnerable' group of people by another governments department's funding rules, that after 20 phone calls, 6 emails and a lot of explaing what I was trying to do I was eventually told to:

'Pass the vacancy details around your contacts as it would be too difficult for us to advertise in just one job centre to our long term unemployed under 25's.'

The useless spacktards couldn't even pass a copy of the ad to their New Deal advisors.

"But the move will be viewed by some as a controversial politically correct measure that stops just short of positive discrimination, which is illegal."

How does this policy stop short ?

It is designed to make sure some sections of society will be better protected from the effects of the so called downturn based on race, sex and ability.

wow, if this is stopping short of positive descrimination what the hell is positive descrimination like ? All the white working men fk off and die, right, you lot, the ones we are protecting, off to work you go.

Perhaps this whole thing is a ploy, the "credit crunch" the "global downturn" the run on banks, plus this "protect some groups while still taxing to death the others" is a way of causing riots.

Once a good load of riots have been had the govt can introduce new laws and curfews and ID cards to control us, then the Govt can control All your wages and the bank they are in, maybe give you some of your money back to spend as they want you to, remember remember......
