Boris Johnson on Radio 5 this morning - genius

Boris is without doubt the sort of person we need more of in politics.

Notwithstanding some of his (fairly harmless) gaffes, teh fact is he has quite a bit of real world experience, is well read, very intelligent and doesn't bullst.

This morning on R5, he was asked to comment on teh breaking news of the shooitng in pakistan and if he had anything to say to the pakistani community in London.

Rather sonme bullst, wishy wshy nonsense statement he just said he honestly had nothing to say as he'd only just heard the news etc etc. How refreshing.

Looks like R5 tried to lead him by the nose into another Borisism, and he politely declined for several perfectly valid and understandable reasons.

I am with you on this one. The bumbling public school duffer act is purely that. He is a pretty smart guy. He tends to keep his promises too.
