So the other day my mate exclaimed that he had found an old CD lying about in the car, which provided a most excellent soundtrack when driving at pace - It was the Good Morning Vietnam OST. There were some half decent tracks on there and thought a few may just appear in my iTunes playlist, but was wondering if the PH collective know of any other Vietnam anthems ...

Y'know, 60's rock with lots of wah pedal work, similar to the ones used in films when several AH-1G Cobras (or Hueys!) fly overhead smile

Any ideas? biggrin

A while back i got the tracklisting for the Battlefield: Vietnam PC game and downloaded all the songs from that, very very atmospheric music for a video game.

Classic Vietnam song its probably been in all of them.

IIRC there was a Australian TV show 3-4 long episodes set during the Vietnam era. Played all the music of the times. I watched it for the music
