Un - F***ing - beleiveable.

Now the woman who was working and cheating the benefit system, quits work and is able to re apply for the benefits, and the Bloke is appealing the decision to stop his benefits.

Will the last hard working person in the UK switch the light off when you leave.....

Surely they can claim back all the money they stole by deducting it from the benefits their now in receipt of. That would be too easy wouldn't it.

What an attrocious family. I strongly suspect there are many like them though. The punishment should be more severe - to really send a message to the scrotes who might currently be doing this or tempted to.

For me, the most interesting thing about that is that they were given "unpaid work orders" as part of the sentence. I for one would be quite happy if that were dished out more frequently as a punishment where fraud could be proven.

Just out of interest, do any of you know how often it is used? I can imagine that it would be as big a deterrent as prison for some of these work shy wkers

just fking build dormitories in a secluded place...feed them, clothe them , educate them, find jobs for them etc...use this place as a starting block and move up the social ladder... when they get a job, move back into normal life that all tax payers live..job done, no pressure on benefits system, everything simplified. The govt provides BASIC EXISTANCE to people who have no income. Lower taxes for taxpayers also.

Common TV, queue for using the loo,Queue to use internet, basic commodities rationed etc.

I know this might shock most of you and sound snobbish etc...but the current culture of depending on taxpayers to live very very comfortable lives without working a day has got to stop. We cant afford this st

The only way to change the culture of people in this loop is to drastically change the service back to basics.

Problem solved.

The stupid thing is when you look at the headline of £130,000 it looks like they were living it up on hard working people, but that £130,000 was spread across several people and years.

In reality they must have been earning a pitance and just surviving, why?? Just get a job for gods sake.

I suppose the lack of taxes and everything else being paid for makes the difference, but still.

So, between the five of them they stole £130,000 over 4 years?

£125 each per week for 4 years, nice little earner...

Why would the work at £6/hr for 40 hrs and pay tax and NI and get £175-200 net pay when they can get 125 for free and no bills to pay?

I know i'd like £500 extra a month for filling in a form every so often! Not that I would cheat the system, they're scum.

Ah, Eccles, such a lovely place. I've been writing it up on Wiki, to give you an idea:

One of those towns with a proud industrial past that now is filled with chavs.

280 Hours is the max a court/Judge can give in any one community service sentence any more than that they get let off as the prisons are full.

And why was the Father jailed whilst the Mother was given a non-custodial - despite her claiming a higher rate of benefit i.e. fleecing more? They should all have been jailed....

Careful there POD smile There are still plenty of decent hard working people living in the area.

Infact I did my paper round in those exact flats as a kid... Was fun when the lifts were broken biggrin Ewood, Emerson etc... if I remember rightly!

Sorry for any real sufferers, but it's always Angina that they "suffer" from isn't it that prevents them from working?

How come the mother can now claim legitimately despite the fact that her actions have proven she's fit to work !
