Try the recruiting section of 'e-goat.co.uk'.

For the love of god don't post under the general forum, if you think PH is bad for reaction's then you ain't seen nothing yet!

Are you going aircrew or ground?

Just spoken to him, he said to google for psychometric test.

He said, you're more than welcome to give him a bell & go through things you're unsure of.

My speciality training will take place there. Not sure about after training. Would be nice though. I only live an hour away

After training will be either 90SU at Leeming or Cyprus wink

Is it only 'Aerial ERecting' you are going for? I was under the impression they weren't taking on any more specialists for that role anymore.

According to themselves the position is open.

My next choice is 'weapons fitter'

What have you been told that your chosen trade will entail? A 'traditional' aerial erector will deal with fibre optic's and erm..aerials. Recently the trade has been merged into the much bigger communications trade which is why I was somewhat surprised earlier that they are selling that trade to you.

The aerial trade is very small which could be negative in terms of promotion later in your career and the choice of posting is somewhat limited in relation to your second choice of weapons.

Have a chat with the fella from Bristol and don't be afraid to ask him direct questions, it can only be a good thing to go in with all the info you can get.

Feel free to PM me, more than happy to answer any questions as I'm sure the other RAF lads on here are.
