RBS Directors share purchases

At the recent select committee interrogation of failed bank directors, they all made a big deal about the amount they had lost from their shares held in the banks. I would like to know if any of these bankers took up the rights issue they recommended to their poor suffering shareholders. If they did and actually invested some of their "hard earned" money in these now almost worthless shares, I will start to believe they didn't deliberately mislead the market. If however, they didn't take up the rights issue they signed off on, I think it’s pretty clear they should have their asses sued off.

As for the mutual back scratching these remuneration committee's are guilty of - don't get me started.
