Need some advice about this

The key-pad on my mobile was a little erratic today (some keys not working) so like a total fking numpty I switched it off, gthinking it would fix itself..

Now, I know that keypad is knackered as I can’t even type in the security code on start-up

D’Oh

My problem is that all the numbers in the memory are stored in the phone and not on the SIM (300+ of them), so basically I can’t dial out, receive or even transfer the numbers to another phone

Any ideas how to get round this? All I want is the numbers - the phone itself is now history as far as I'm concerned.

BTW: it’s a Nokia 6230

Take the keypad off and try to manually push the 'button' bits on the internals/circuit board? I did this years ago on an old phone, but their design may have changed.

did you ever have it connected to a pc?

the phone software on the pc should allow you access the phonebook i have done this with smashed phones but to be honest never with a phone that has a security code to turn it on

Good luck
