The little button on the side on my phone to increase the volume of the earpiece and speaker for the music player om my N95 stopped working this morning, the problem is that i had the volume set really low as i was using the mp3 player last night so now i cant hear what people are saying on the phone.

Is there another way of turning the volume up? ive tried the usual turn off/battery out in the hope that the volume would reset to the default level but this hasnt worked.

In a phone call press left/right on the direction pad to decrease/increase the volume. The setting is saved once the call ends too.

I thought call volume and music player volume were independant!

The < and > directions turn the call volume up and down when you are making a call.

Sometimes the media controls and the volume pack up on mine when you have a "corrupted" song. On / Off has always worked for me.

PS I find it amusing that the advert next to this post is for a Nokia phone.
