Planes & Laptops
Discussion
I just thought i'd read somewhere that they mentioned about not being able to use laptops in some classes or they weren't set up for it. Although I think I read elsewhere they were permitted if wireless disabled but it may have been a different airline which is why I posted to save the confusion.
I won't be needing power - i've got about 7 hour battery, but it's good to know.
Thanks for the help.

Of course the noise of the disk spinning round in the drive & the constant changing image on the great big laptop screen (that'll keep catching his eye) might drive the bloke sitting next to you to want to commit murder but hey ho - all part of life's rich tapestry eh? No CD/DVD drive

Sstein - If I watch them now, what will I do on the plane? That was the whole point of it. It's the only thing that will keep me sane.

I'd probably end up getting shot pulling that trick. I think i'll just opt for sitting quietly in my seat watching some film which may be deemed offsensive to others in certain scenes. I'm almost considering watching something a bit tamer, but i've set my mind on it now.
Hmmm... 2 girls 1 cup? Must be a short flight...sstein said:
What films are you looking forward to watch.
I hope they don't have nicholas cage in, we have already determined everything he does is poo.
I was thinking of going for American Psycho (I know there's a few scenes such as the 2 hooker scene which may draw attention if someone looks). I might do a bit of "Pan's Labyrinth" if I feel up to reading subtitles and then there's "Leon" and "The pursuit of Happyness".I hope they don't have nicholas cage in, we have already determined everything he does is poo.
American Psycho will be the first port of call though and then i'll take it from there.

Can't go wrong with American Psycho. Also try Matchstick Men, Switchblade Romance, Eastern Promise and Nocountry for old men.
I'm not feeling in the mood to get any others. I've seen Switchblade pretty good. I could also watch "Rounders" seeing as i'm going to vegas. I might have "A beautiful mind" as a backup film to watch. I might just fall asleep for the whole 11 hours and not watch anything

When I went to San Fran on VA, I though their entertainment centre was quite good really.
But then I never watch films, so they were ALL one's I'd never seen. The only annoying thing was the lack of a change on the way back...still the same stuff!
It probably is. The BA ones were pretty good, when the screen worked and the person in front didn't mess around with their chair every few minutes. I might check it out. Just I prefer a bigger screen and there's nothing I "really" want to see that I can't wait for.But then I never watch films, so they were ALL one's I'd never seen.
