I'm on a contract with orange, (panther 45) and supposedly get 1200 included minutes.

however, just got my bill, and it states that i've only used 167.11 of my inclusive minutes, but i've also used
599.06 non-inclusive minutes, for which they have charged me an exta £11.76 on top of my monthy price plan..

Whats non-inclusive minutes? calls to abroad? there is not a chance i've spent 599.06 mintues on overseas calls. I do call Jersey (1 minute calls once a week), France (20mins once every 2 weeks) and ocasionally south africa (5 mins maybe once a month)

my question is, why have i been charged for 599.06 of non inclusive minutes when i've never been on the phone for 599.06 mins?!

Cheers guys.

Do you call stuff like 0800, 0870, 0845 etc? They're not included on talk plans iirc.

It should show on your bill which calls are charged anyway - you do have itemised billing?

Do your included minutes have to be used at evenings or weekends..?

http://orange.co.uk/youraccount/?linkfrom=hp2&link=header_your_account then you can get itemised bills. If you're not currently registered it just takes a few minutes.

But as someone above said, perhaps it'd be a better idea to give orange a call? (150 from your phone IIRC)

Think i might register aswell, i don't get itemised bills(because they want to charge me for it!), but have always noticed that despite not using all my "Inclusive minutes", which are supposed to be to any network/land line, any time of day or night, yet they still charge me for "non-inclusive" minutes, wierd.

cheers, will have to look into this further

Whatever it is its too cheap to be a standard (i.e. international etc) destination. 599 minutes is 10 hours - for 11.76 - so the call charge rate is 1.96p a minute. Does not compute with any standard Orange price that I know of. Could be some kind of data dial up I suppose - suggest you ring Orange cust svcs.

I must just be lucky then - I always get 'Tracey' or 'Kevin' though their accent tends me to believe they might not be UK residents. . . . . . .
