I've recently discovered the 60's American band Tommy James and the Shondells. One of there tracks is called "Ball of Fire", it could have been written about 9/11. but it was released in 1969.

Scarlet hovering my head
Pretty and red, pretty and red
Flowers dying in their bed, oh yeah

Why is everyone crying
Don't you know you can see
Shining down on you and me

And the ball of fire in the sky
Keeps watching over you and I way up high

And now the towers are falling
Tumbling down, tumbling down
Oh can't you hear the angels calling
Oh yeah listen

Shining through eternity
As it was so it shall be

Spooky, huh?

It's a great tune too, sadly let down by a poor live version on youtube.

Mods, I don't think matters of such importance should be shunted to the music section. musicredcard
